Final Night Of Jamestown Football Academy Moved Indoors
JAMESTOWN – The fourth and final session of the 2024 Jamestown Football Academy has been moved indoors due to the cool, wet weather. NDHSAA Class A Speech State Tournament Results
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NDHSAA) – The 2024 and seventy-first annual NDHSAA-sponsored Class A Speech State Tournament was held at Jamestown High School on April 20. All participants qualified from one of two regional tournaments or at an invitational tournament held during the season. West Fargo Horace captured first place with 186 points. West Fargo Sheyenne took second with 52 points, Bismarck St. Mary’s was third with 46 points, and West Fargo was awarded 4th with 38 points.
Jamestown Girls Soccer Records 6th Shutout
JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Soccer recorded its sixth win and shutout of the season Saturday with a 4-0 win over Williston at Rotary Field. Layla Becker scored twice with an assist for the Blue Jays (6-1-0, 6-1-0 WDA). Amelia Newman, set up by Becker, began the scoring in the seventh minute. Becker then scored in the 16th and 18th minutes. Briella Martin had the final tally in the 38th minute.
