Perv in pajama pants exposes self, swings hammer at woman on Midtown subway train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A hammer-swinging skateboarder in pajama pants exposed himself to a woman and performed a lewd act on a subway train in Midtown Manhattan this week, police said Wednesday as they searched for him.

The NYPD released images and video showing the suspect clad in blue pajama pants, a button-down dress shirt and black boots, and also carrying a skateboard, around the time of the incident Sunday.

A woman was riding a Queens-bound 7 train at the 42nd Street–Bryant Park/Fifth Avenue station when the man allegedly flashed her and performed the lewd act.

He also brandished a silver hammer and waved it at her before fleeing the train, according to cops.

The victim was not physically injured, police said.
