A Jewish Yale University student journalist reporting on an anti-Israeli protest at the Ivy League school Saturday night was stabbed in the eye with a Palestinian flag – while her assailant has gone unpunished.

Sahar Tartak, the editor-in-chief of the Yale Free Press, was covering the protest – which saw hundreds of students camping at the campus in support of Palestinians – when she was suddenly surrounded by demonstrators.

Tartak said she and a friend were singled out for wearing Hasidic Jewish attire as the crowd formed a blockade around them to interfere with their filming.

Sophie Savidge, 16, a junior at Mason Classical Academy in Naples, wore a black suit with an olive-colored vest and tie to the ritzy Vanderbilt Country Club on Saturday, hoping to fill the night with lasting memories.

However, Savidge learned from school administrators that she had violated the academy’s dress code for formal occasions and needed to leave, according to NBC News.

A graduating senior at a Tennessee high school launched his diploma at another student as he was being escorted out of the ceremony for allegedly showing gang signs, igniting an on-stage fight.

The caught-on-camera brawl between the two Hamilton High School graduates happened as their peers were being celebrated inside the Cannon Center in Memphis, Tenn. on Thursday night.
