10 Texas Steakhouses Where The Steaks Are So Good You’ll Stop Caring About The Price
One steakhouse on this list serves dinner on a 32,000-acre working desert ranch. Hollywood filmed a Chuck Norris movie on that same land. Another started life as a hay barn back in 1983. Stiles Switch BBQ to Replace Z’Tejas in Kyle
Stiles Switch BBQ, an Austin-based barbecue restaurant known for its Texas-style smoked meats, is preparing to open a new location in Kyle at 18920 S I-35 Frontage Rd. ‘Teen Mom’ Star Farrah Abraham (Badly) Loses Her Bid for Austin City Council; Sets Sights on 2028 Mayoral Run
Farrah Abraham’s bid for Austin City Council has come to an end, though the former ‘Teen Mom’ star warns claims she’s not done pursuing a career in politics just yet. KUT News reported on Wednesday that Farrah finished fourth in the four-way race for Austin City Council District 5, earning just over 10 percent of votes (about 3,565). Candidate Liz Brink finished ahead of Farrah with 16 percent (5,674 votes), while David Weinberg had 26.18 percent (9,283)– enough to put him in the December 12 runoff against incumbent Ryan Alter, a Harvard-educated attorney who received 47.77 percent of votes (16,941).
