Maryland governor signs bill to create statewide gun center
BALTIMORE (CBS/AP) -- Maryland Gov. Wes Moore signed a bill into law on Thursday to create a new statewide center to help prevent gun violence. The governor described the center as the first of its kind since the White House urged states to form their own centers to better focus efforts to stop gun violence. Two men charged in fatal shooting in Culmore
Fairfax County Police arrested two men in connection with the murder of a man in the Culmore area of Bailey’s Crossroads. The victim was identified as Alder Perez Argueta, 21, of Bailey’s Crossroads. He was found by police suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
