MANASSAS, Va. — Police in Manassas are searching for two suspects in connection with a string of burglaries that occurred at Dominion Square Shopping Center early Tuesday. According to police, two people in black clothing forced entry into the rear of businesses in the shopping complex. Multiple burglaries occurred between 1 a.m. and 2:15 a.m.

There were two incidents reported in Reston, Virginia this week. The first incident involved multiple gunshots fired near Snakden Branch Trail in the Glade area of Reston. Police responded to the scene after receiving several calls reporting the gunshots. One caller confirmed seeing a person firing the gun. The second incident involved a man who suffered life-threatening injuries in a scooter crash at Town Center Drive and Bowman Towne Drive. The man fell while riding the scooter and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A 15-year-old boy was arrested Thursday in connection to shooting at two homes in Woodbridge. On Monday evening, officers were called to investigate shots fired at a residence on Kentmore Drive. The home was struck by gunfire and a black four-door sedan was seen fleeing the area, according to a press release. Officers also located shell casings on the road near the home. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

Crime is on the rise in McLean, Virginia, prompting the Fairfax County Police Department's McLean District Station to take action. At a recent forum, station leaders discussed the increase in crime and the measures being taken to address it. Lt.
