Lubbock has a Taylor Swift-themed rental called ‘The Eras Getaway’

LUBBOCK, Texas (KLBK) — A Lubbock realtor worked alongside his daughters and colleagues to create a unique Taylor Swift-themed rental home that is “Lubbock’s version.”

Kyndall Lemaire said she wanted to try out interior designing and transform a blank space into something great.

“I was really just trying to find something creative that we could do,” Lemaire said

Her colleague, Josh Allen, was on board with the idea since the beginning.

“I own rental properties and real estate. And Kindle came to me and said, ‘What do you think of a Taylor Swift-themed Airbnb?'” Allen said.

Allen said he knew two girls who would know about Swift all too well.

“I’ve got two junior high daughters, they love Taylor Swift like lots of junior high girls do,” Allen said.

The Allen girls were able to create and imagine the entire thing from start to finish.

Haven and Selah Allen, daughters of Josh Allen, said, “I love it so much because it matched every era perfectly, you know, just like, mesh everything perfectly how it should be perfect.”

The Eras Getaway has four bedrooms that are dedicated to Swift’s albums such as Reputation, Speak Now, 1989 and Lover.

There is even a bathroom dedicated to that guy who plays on the Chiefs.

“It’s a really amazing feeling that like we can have this impact on people as they come and stay here and we got to be a part of this,” the Allen girls said.

Watching his girls take the lead on the project has meant a lot to Allen as a father.

“At the end of the day, you’re really getting to spend quality time and you’re getting to really instill principles and learning lessons that I think are translatable and so valuable as they grow,” Allen said.

The rental is not only just for Swifties, Allen said it’s for anyone wanting to have a great, unique getaway.
