    U-Haul goes up in flames after slamming into building in South L.A.

    A U-Haul truck burst into flames after sideswiping a car and careening into a building in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood of South Los Angeles.

    Preliminary information indicates the crash happened just after midnight Wednesday on Jefferson Boulevard near Western Avenue.

    Before crashing into the structure, the U-Haul sideswiped a nearby parked sedan, causing heavy damage to its driver-side door and front bumper.

    Video from the scene shows the truck smoldering as firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames.

    Canoga Park home raided by FBI agents, SWAT team

    Reports from stringer news service KeyNews suggest that the suspects were seen “jogging away from the scene,” but that information was not confirmed by law enforcement officials.

    What led up to the crash is not yet known.
