Last year my great-grandson learned he was redistricted and we were invited to the annual family breakfast at Applewood Elementary. This year, we were a full-fledged Applewood family so, once again, enjoyed the family breakfast as families of all sizes came in for bakery and beverages (luckily, the coffee pot was ready at the 8 a.m. start).
