Windber veterans and food pantry unite to combat local food insecurity
Officials at the Windber Food Pantry in Somerset County say over 54% of Windber residents have food insecurity issues. Veteran Community Initiatives, Windber American Legion, and Windber VFW joined together to host a basket party that raises funds for the Windber Pantry Packs program.
