Sheetz will give customers $880K for shopping there

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — This summer could be a real winner, as Sheetz wants to give $880,000 to customers.

Customers who fill up at Sheetz this summer could win their share of $880,000 — $220,000 for each drawing.

Sheetz is launching this sweepstakes by lowering the price of Unleaded 88 to 20 cents lower than that of Unleaded 87. It will continue until the sweepstakes ends Aug. 14.

Here’s how it works:

From now until Aug. 14, Sheetz customers who get gas will have the chance to be entered into the contest. Entries will be for the following.

• 5 entries – for every gallon of Unleaded 88 or E85 (Flex Fuel) purchased
• 1 entry – for every gallon of other fuel grades purchased (Regular, Mid-Grade, Premium, Ethanol Free, Diesel Exhaust Fluid and Diesel)
• 1 entry – Customers can redeem 88 My Sheetz Rewardz loyalty points for one entry

Sheetz said the drawings will happen once a month (May 29, June 26, July 24 and August 21). customers will need to use their Sheetz Rewardz card and then opt-in to the sweepstakes via the Sheetz app, email, in-store, or via the prompt on the fuel pump.
