BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police have reported that between the evening of April 26 into the morning of April 27, multiple vehicles in the Bradley Gardens section of town were broken into and ransacked. Lake Hopatcong getting new patrol boats. Here's how much they cost
The Morris County Sheriff's Office will receive $250,000 to help improve boater safety on Lake Hopatcong this summer, Senate Republican leader Tony Bucco announced Monday. The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs will award the grant to help purchase two inflatable patrol boats for the sheriff's office marine unit. The grant was requested by Bucco, who represents the 25th District which includes the lake.

Death of Woman at Raritan Public Library Deemed Not Suspicious
RARITAN, NJ - Raritan Borough Police are investigating the death of a 44-year-old woman after she was found April 20 at 9:45 a.m. bleeding in the bathroom of the Raritan Borough Public Library, on East Somerset Street. According to Sgt. Everett Holt, the Somerville woman was found suffering from several self-inflicted wounds to her arms.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Officers started lifesaving measures, Holt said, and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital BLS and ALS units also responded to the scene to assist. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Holt said a preliminary report deemed the woman's death to be non-suspicious. The Northern NJ Regional Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy at a later date.
