Ella Stevinson doubled in the other run for Watchung Hills, which improved to 13-2 on the season. “Today was another really good win,” said WHRHS head coach Brian Figueriedo. “I can’t say enough about the game Mia pitched for us against a good lineup in Johnson. When you don’t walk anyone and give up only 2 hits, you’re going to win a lot of games. She also helped her own cause by driving in one of the two runs today. We had a lot of really good at bats that were swallowed up by the wind, but we pushed through and found a way to get win number 13. We’re looking forward to the day off tomorrow and then we’ll get after it again on Monday at JP Stevens.”CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Watchung Hills next travels to JP Stevens on Monday.
