No more left turns at Fall Hill Avenue and Bridgewater Street
Drivers traveling along Fall Hill Avenue can no longer turn left onto or from Bridgewater Street following a change at the intersection. The City of Fredericksburg installed yellow reflective delineator posts Oct. 1 to mark the new traffic configuration at Fall Hill Avenue and Bridgewater Street. The intersection is now set up as right-in, right-out, meaning drivers can turn right from Fall Hill Avenue onto Bridgewater Street and right from Bridgewater Street onto Fall Hill Avenue. Left turns are no longer allowed.

Transit agencies and city departments of transportation are working to upgrade and add transit shelters throughout their regions to improve the passenger experience. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (WMATA) is adding new, modular bus shelters created by Tolar Manufacturing Company (Tolar Manufacturing) throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia region while the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) is adding hundreds of new bus stop shelters and benches through 2027 within the city of Detroit.
