Repairs Begin Today on 89A Through Oak Creek Canyon
11/4 ADOT is wasting no time when it comes to repairing the damages caused by flooding on Highway-89A between Sedona and Flagstaff. Officials say the highway will remain closed until further notice, but repairs begin today. Residents who live in the canyon will be allowed in and out with proof of residency. Workers are already in the canyon assessing the damages and staging equipment. Travel between Sedona and Flagstaff is limited to Highway-179 and I-17. There’s no estimate on when all the repairs will be finished.
