Sizzling Simmons: Coming off county 100-meter title, Walkersville senior takes aim at states
On the same track where he blazed to his fastest time in the 100-meter dash almost a month earlier, Walkersville senior Aidan Simmons won his first county title in the event. Simmons won the 100 dash at the Frederick County Public Schools Track and Field Championships last Thursday at Middletown High School.

Two Persons Arrested In Connection With Drug-Related Overdose In Brunswick
They’re charged with distribution of fentanyl. Steven Best (L) Sierra Pompell (R) Brunswick, Md (KM) Brunswick Police made two arrests recently in connection with a tragic incident late last year. Steven Wayne Best Jr., 22, of Brunswick was taken into custody on May 3rd, charged with distribution of fentanyl. His charge is based on a Frederick County Circuit Court indictment.
