Suspect Arrested Following Chase, Standoff In Frederick
He was apprehended in a wooded area. Frederick, Md (KM) One person was taken into custody following a vehicle chase and standoff in the Ballenger Creek area Thursday night. Citing a police spokeswoman, the Frederick News Post reports that officers responded to the Woodspring Suites along Ballenger Center Drive at around 7:00 PM for a domestic incident. Authorities say a man suspected of the assault fled the scene in a truck, leading police on a chase along Interstate 70 and back to the hotel.
