5 Best Restaurants in Toledo, Ohio You Need to Try Before Everyone Else Finds Them
Toledo, Ohio — a city where the Maumee River glides beneath bridges old and new, where glass and steel rise beside brick warehouses, and the laughter of families, artists, and dreamers mingles on tree-lined avenues. Here, the skyline is a patchwork: art deco towers, murals blooming on downtown walls, and the steady hum of industry softened by the warmth of neighborhood diners. Toledo is a crossroads — of Midwestern grit and quiet hope, of auto workers and musicians, of immigrants whose recipes and stories have become the city’s own.

"If we can open in the next 6 to 9 months, this project could create about 15 to 20 full- and part-time positions." LaZette spent 10 years as a special education teacher, helping those with disabilities to learn job and life skills. When she moved to the Monroe area three years ago, she found that opportunities were scarce for her students. "So, I knew I wanted to do something, and I knew I wanted to do something that kind of stood out against the grain, and for some reason, pizza and beer just stuck in my head," she previously said. Part of the inspiration for the pizzeria were coffee shops
