Video shows pickup truck crash through fence during police chase on North Shore
DANVERS - A pickup truck crashed through a fence during a police chase on the North Shore Tuesday afternoon. Video from SkyEye shows police pursuing the red pickup truck before it slows down and pulls into a parking lot at a Middleton business. At one point the truck stopped. Police got out with guns drawn and the driver took off, crashing through a fence, over a wall and into a neighboring parking lot before getting back onto South Main Street. A short time later the suspect ditched the truck. Police caught up with the suspect in a wooded area near a cemetery in Danvers. It is unclear why police were chasing the suspect.

Woman killed in high-speed hit-and-run motorcycle crash in Methuen
A woman was killed by a speeding motorcycle in Methuen, Massachusetts, Sunday night, and authorities say they've made an arrest in the case. The woman was found face down by the side of Lowell Street near Alexander Circle at about 8:37 p.m. Sunday, Methuen police said. An officer provided first aid until paramedics arrived to bring her to Lawrence General Hospital, where the woman was pronounced dead.

BRENTWOOD — A former youth baseball coach pleaded guilty to the 2017 rape of a Seabrook teenager, who told the court her life will never be the same. Prosecutors say Curran Shane, 34, a former baseball coach in the Bedford School District, for Seacoast United and for Play Ball in Salisbury, Massachusetts, was drunk when he raped the 15-year-old girl. They say Shane snuck into the girl's bedroom, and despite being repeatedly told “no” and “stop it,” he forcibly raped her.
