    FCPD: Pedestrian killed in early morning Huntington crash, driver arrested

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) was on the scene of a fatal crash in the early hours of Friday morning in Huntington.

    In a post made on X just before 1:45 a.m., police said the crash happened at North Kings Highway and Huntington Park Drive.

    A man had been hit by a car there and died at the scene.

    Arlington police: Man seriously hurt in hit-and-run

    The driver of the car involved stayed at the scene. In an update at 6:30 a.m., FCPD said they arrested the driver.

    Northbound North Kinds Highway was closed at the intersection for nearly five hours as officials investigated. Commuters were advised to use a different route.
