BRICK – The State Attorney General’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was brought to a hospital after an encounter with local police. The Attorney General’s Office said that the incident started around 4:30 p.m. on May 9. Brick Police were dispatched to the area of Wisteria Drive and Vermont Drive in response to a man “in a state of active distress in the street.” His age and name were not released.
