Neighboring pizza parlor starts GoFundMe for employees of N.J. restaurant gutted by fire
A GoFundMe has been set up to aid employees of a Brick Township pizza restaurant that was destroyed in a fire Saturday evening that also damaged two other stores. The GoFundMe was started by Anthony Carannante who, along with his sister, owns Papa V’s Pizzeria, which is located an eighth of a mile from Cuzzin’s Pizza and Restaurant, damaged by flames that for a time shot through the roof of the building on Herbertsville Road.
Shark River Channel to be closed to marine traffic Tuesday and Wednesday
BELMAR/AVON-BY-THE-SEA — The Shark River Channel between the boroughs of Belmar and Avon-By-The-Sea will be closed to marine traffic on Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1 for emergency repairs to the Route 71 Drawbridge. The closure, which will begin at 6 a.m. on Tuesday and go on until 6 p.m.
