$100,000 Miracle Drawing to offer one-day ticket event
YORKVILLE — The Mohawk Valley Health System Foundation, in partnership with WKTV NewsChannel 2, is hosting a special one-day ticket event from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, May 17, at Holland Farms Bakery & Deli, 50 Oriskany Blvd. Staff will be on-site and accepting cash, checks and credit cards for $100,000 Miracle Drawing raffle tickets to benefit the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at MVHS.

This week I am going off the beaten path and bringing you an interview with a Boonville author. This local author is Jonny Poet, a/k/a Phillip Youngs, of Boonville. He is a 1991 graduate of Adirondack Central School and he recently published a children’s book entitled “Waddling to the Pond.” It is illustrated by his mother, Linda Luchsinger, also of Boonville. The book is dedicated to all the children of the world.
