ROME, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — A Rome man was arrested on Monday after he allegedly threatened several occupants of an apartment building in the city with a chainsaw. Rome Police responded to the apartment building at North Madison in Rome for a report of menacing. Upon their arrival, officers learned that the suspect — 54-year-old Paul Scott of Rome — was in possession of a chainsaw and was threatening residents with it.
