Visitor restrictions lifted at Wynn Hospital
UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — The Wynn Hospital announced on Wednesday, May 15 that restrictions for their Maternal Child Units have been lifted. The restrictions, which were to better protect the hospital’s patients and employees from various respiratory illnesses such as flu and COVID, had been in place since December. The New York State Department of Health, as well as Mohawk Valley Health System maternity leaders, found the illnesses — among others — stated to no longer be prevalent and lifted the restrictions.
