Green Bay’s average gas price finally goes down after weeks of increases
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) -- Woes at the pump have defined not just the summer, but 2026 as a whole, as gas prices keep climbing and threaten to break a record. Luckily, the pendulum seems to be swinging back, with prices around the Badger State finally decreasing, if only a little, according to AAA.

A 10-working-day closure of the Highway 32 & 28 roundabout at Sheboygan Falls is in effect today while workers upgrade that intersection as part of the rebuild of 28 between I-43 and Highway 57. Highway 28 traffic will use Highway 57, County Road V and I-43, while Highway 32 traffic will be detoured onto Highway 23, I-43 and County Road V. FOND DU LAC – Drivers in Fond du Lac should plan for several street closures and construction zones the week of Sept. 21-25. Here’s what to know. Western Avenue and Macy Street Western Avenue from Military Road to Main Street and Macy Street from Court Street to Western Avenue are under construction through October. Crews are relocating gas mains and services and rebuilding sewer, water, roadway, sidewalk, lighting, traffic signals and landscaping. The sewer contractor will continue installing storm sewer main Sept. 21-25. Western Avenue is closed to traffic between Macy and Oak streets.
