COMBINED LOCKS, Wis. (WFRV) – A 9-year-old is dead after being hit by a semi-tractor at an intersection in Outagamie County. According to a release, on Friday at 3:08 p.m., the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was sent to the intersection of Washington Street and Wallace Street in the Village of Combined Locks.

Man Sentenced for Role in Murder Outside Neenah Tavern
OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Mandel Roy was sentenced Friday to seven years in prison for his role in the death of a man outside a Neenah tavern. Roy, 28, was also placed on extended supervision for five years by Judge Daniel Bissett, court records show. Originally charged with felony murder, Roy pleaded no contest to first-degree recklessly endangering safety.

WASHBURN COUNTY -- Test results from the Wisconsin State Crime Lab on a sample of blood retrieved from Travis J. Thompson, age 42, of Clayton, WI, after a traffic stop in May 2022, have led to criminal charges for Travis. The criminal complaint alleges that Travis had alcohol and marijuana in his system. Outagamie Co. awards grants to fund affordable housing
KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – Outagamie County is taking major steps to provide affordable housing for people below the poverty line. The Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity and Rise Apartments have been awarded $2 million to fund construction projects, including 10 houses across Kaukauna, Little Chute, and Appleton, and a 48-unit apartment complex.
