Surgery successful for Poplar Bluff baby born with rare genetic disorder
POPLR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - Good news for the Poplar Bluff family whose daughter was born with an incredibly rare genetic disorder. Their daughter’s surgery to unfuse her eyelids was successful. Her mom says this does not mean she can see, but it means a series of foam spacers will be changed out periodically, expanding the area where her eyes would have been.
