POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - A man from Kansas is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Butler County Saturday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, the crash took place around 6:55 p.m. on May 4. The driver was going southbound on Route W, five miles north of Poplar Bluff.
Mules advance to next round with win over Festus, Baseball roundup
The Poplar Bluff Mules tennis squad survived and advanced in the Class 2 District 1 Tournament opening round on Monday at Poplar Bluff High School. The No. 2 seeded Mules faced off against the No. 7 Festus Tigers for a spot in the semifinals. The Mules wouldn’t have any trouble against Festus as they defeated them 5-0. With a hot start to the tournament, head tennis coach Michael Sowatzke hopes it can continue through the next round.
