As a result, Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) launched a district-wide Fentanyl Awareness Education Campaign in November, including educational assemblies at 62 high schools to make students aware of the risks of taking this dangerous drug. After School Program Highlights

As we getting ready to start our summer programming, the City’s Social Services Division at the Park and Recreation Department would like to take this opportunity to celebrate our children and families who have been part of our After School Programs for the entire 2023-2024 school year. We had lots of fun, participated in engaging educational activities and field trips, and had opportunities to learn about social and life skills. We enjoyed the 2024 Solar Eclipse together, attended sporting events, visited museums, and other historical venues. We completed arts and crafts activities, participated in a DJ Academy program, family activities, and learned tennis and some new dance techniques. We had a blast!
