Did you know Maine is a few hours south of Key Largo? That’s what my taste buds think at least. DJ’s Clam Shack sits right on a piece of prime property on Duval Street in Key West. Homestead Man Charged in Robbery and Assault of Teen in Key Largo
A Homestead man faces charges after allegedly robbing a teen in Key Largo, authorities said. Shayvon Cortavius Givens, 20, is accused of assaulting and robbing a 14-year-old boy of jewelry worth over $3,200. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office reports the incident occurred in June 2023, when Givens allegedly punched the victim multiple times before taking the jewelry.

Islamorada councilman pleads in ethics case
Islamorada Village Councilman Henry Rosenthal has agreed to a stipulation order from the Florida Commission on Ethics that calls for a “public censure and reprimand,” and for him to pay $2,500 in fines. An attorney for Rosenthal signed the agreement in January, and the Florida Commission on Ethics will formally vote on the stipulation when it meets Friday, April 19, in Tallahassee.
