Lou Grasso Resigns as Union H.S. Football Coach
UNION, NJ -- Lou Grasso announced his resignation as the head football coach at Union High School this week. Grasso has accepted the position of athletic director at Colonia High School in Middlesex County, where he will succeed longtime Colonia A.D. The coach at Union for the last 11 seasons, Grasso posted a record of 67-49 at Union, winning the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 championship in 2019. Montclair Girls Track, Field Makes it Back-to-Back SEC American Titles
The Montclair girls track and field team followed up winning the top Super Essex Conference division championship last season with another last weekend. The Mounties girls team outscored Livingston, 131-121 points as Montclair won their fifth American championship in the last six meets (the 2020 meet was not held because of COVID). The Mounties boys team finished fifth with 43 points in the SEC American Division race with Seton Hall Prep coming in first with 129 points.
