For the first time since Madison and McKay high schools in 1986, the Oregon 6A Boys state track and field championship at Eugene's Hayward Field was an even tie, with both Sherwood and Sheldon scoring 46 total points. Person found dead in Aloha house fire
ALOHA Ore. (KPTV) - A person was found dead by firefighters after they responded to a house fire in Aloha on Sunday, according to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue. At about noon, firefighters responded to a 911 report of smoke coming from the window of a home on Southwest Zabaco Terrace near Southwest Ravenswood Street. The caller said they rang the front doorbell of the house but no one answered.
Man killed in hit-and-run crash in Hillsboro
HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) - The Hillsboro Police Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Thursday night. Just before 10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a pedestrian hit at Southeast Cypress Street and Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway. Police say a man, whose name has not yet been released, was found dead at the scene.
