3 face drug charges after traffic stop in Oil City
Three Oil City residents are facing drug charges, and one of them is additionally facing charges of resisting arrest, after a traffic stop in Oil City in September. Franklin state police, in a criminal complaint, said that on Sept. 4 they initiated a traffic stop on Seneca Street on a car that had driven past. Police discovered the vehicle was registered to 33-year-old Kaitlyn O’Brien, whom police found had a suspended license.
Body in Oil City Creek Confirmed as Former Bradford Resident
The remains found in a creek in Venango County last Saturday have been identified as belonging to a former Bradford resident. Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh and family members have confirmed that the deceased man was 23-year-old Michael Austin of Oil City. Austin grew up in Bradford before moving to Oil City.

A Pittsburgh man is facing charges, including a felony, in Monroe Township, Clarion County after fleeing the hospital in a stolen ambulance, state police said. According to state police, the man, which online court dockets identified as Levi Jones III, 33, was a patient at Clarion Hospital when the incident occurred.
