PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – On May 19, 2024, the Phillipsburg Farmers Market brought locals and visitors to Shappell Park for the Weekly Farmers Market with its inaugural pet parade. The event, starting at 11:00 AM, lined up the pets and owners for a procession of 23+ pets accompanied by their proud owners and a spirited small band of volunteers leading the way. FLEMINGTON – With George Vallone, director of Hoboken Brownstone Company in the audience, the borough council, on May 13, gave its final approval for the transformation of Liberty Village from a deserted shopping center to a collection of new homes. NYC to Dublin portal returns, with changes made due to ‘inappropriate behavior,' tech issues
The virtual portal connecting New York City and Dublin is back — but with some changes in order to discourage the bad behavior that in part led to it closing temporarily. Organizers said the live stream was restarted at 9 a.m. (or 2 p.m. in Dublin) Sunday along Fifth Avenue and 23rd Street after it was temporarily shut down earlier in the week due to "inappropriate behavior" and some tech issues. It will no longer be running 24/7, instead only being open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ -- The Hunterdon Central softball team won the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament championship with a 6-1 victory over High Point on Friday. Kaitlyn Kozak and Emily Van Cleef combined to pitch a one-hitter for the Red Devils (12-8). Kozak allowed one hit, one unearned run, walked none and struck out two in four innings.
