Teen admits he put needles in groceries in Lehigh County supermarket, DA says
A teenager admitted he put 11 needles into groceries at the Giant Food Store where he worked in Lehigh County, authorities said. Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin said the teen confessed to the allegations Thursday and his case was disposed of in Lehigh County Juvenile Court. The teen in April was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of criminal mischief.
Man charged in overdose death of man in North Whitehall
N. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - A man has been charged in the drug overdose death of another man in Lehigh County. Dennis Allen Yenser Jr., 48, of Huntington, is charged with drug delivery resulting in death, a first-degree felony; criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony; manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver, a felony; and intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, a misdemeanor, according to a news release from the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office.
DA: Juvenile admits to putting sewing needles in food items
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - We have an update on an incident in Lehigh County. The DA says a former Giant grocery store employee has admitted to putting sewing needles into different food items. The needles were found in food purchased at a Giant in Lower Macungie Township. No one was hurt.
