At about 11:30 p.m. on May 31, the general manager of the Aquia Harbour Property Owners Association announced two minors had been hit by a vehicle that evening and were being medically treated.

A woman from Stafford has been charged with DUI after admitting to taking controlled substances before crashing her vehicle. The incident occurred on June 1st when a witness saw the woman's vehicle hit a curb at full speed, go airborne, and end up in the parking lot of an auto parts store.

The Alexandria Police Department identified and arrested two individuals in connection with a robbery and use of a firearm according to a release. On May 25, Fredericksburg, VA resident Michael Lazo, 19, and Alexandrian Deshaun Stoney, 32, robbed a commercial space in the 3700 block of Mt. Vernon Ave. The suspects were arrested and a firearm was seized.

A woman in Stafford was arrested for striking two 14-year-old pedestrians with her car in Aquia Harbour. The driver was reported to have glassy, bloodshot eyes and an odor of alcohol on her breath. She admitted to drinking before driving and was charged with driving under the influence.

STAFFORD - Stafford Mayor Greg Myhre reported that congratulations goes out to two Stafford officers. Captain James Haldenwang and Captain Kenneth Schiattarella were both promoted from Lieutenant to Captain at Tuesday night's Township (May 30) Council meeting.    

Four school buses at Dixon Smith Middle School in Stafford County, Virginia were vandalized and robbed during summer break. Deputy J.A. Buzzard responded to the report of the vandalism on May 30th.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested and charged with DUI after police say she flipped her car on Garrisonville Road in Stafford County.

Police responded to a call about suspicious persons in a park on May 29th and found a group of underage party-goers with alcohol. They prepared for pursuit before approaching the suspects, who fled in different directions.

Two women in Stafford County, Virginia were charged with disorderly conduct after a fight in a business parking lot. The incident occurred on May 26th and involved a 20-year-old Stafford woman and a 22-year-old Fredericksburg woman.

Fredericksburg Police say that at 4:13 Sunday morning a call was received about several reports of shots fired in the 100 block of Hillcrest Drive. Spokeswoman Sarah Morris says patrol officers responded to discover three homes struck by bullets and several cartridge casings in the roadway. No one was injured.

Deputy A.C. Wolford responded to Oak Drive for a raccoonaissance mission. He arrived to find George Racclooney injured from a rooftop fall. Unfortunately we have been unable to locate an available rehabilitation center due to the holiday weekend. A homeowner reported that their property was entered and cash and personal belongings were stolen. Hensley responded to a home on Riggs Road for a breaking and entering. The homeowner reported his residence was entered between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Cash and personal property were reported stolen.

If you are wanted, it’s not the best move to break traffic laws in front of a deputy. One wanted Stafford man learned the hard way as he was foiled by Deputy B.E. Vaughn. On May 24th at approximately 5:13 p.m. Deputy Vaughn was traveling on Staffordboro Boulevard during the rush hour. He observed a driver who was displeased with traffic. In his hurried state, the driver began passing vehicles and drove straight through a turn lane. After witnessing the obvious traffic lane violation, Deputy Vaughn turned on his emergency equipment in an attempt to conduct a traffic stop.
