A few storms are possible overnight, mostly over northern Evangeline and northern St. Landry Parish. Overall, the storm chances will be low. Lows will be in the mid 70s. Friday will be a little cooler and a little less humid with highs in the mid 80s. Lows tomorrow night and Saturday night will be in the low to mid 60s. Evangeline Parish sheriff accepts bid to build new jail
VILLE PLATTE, La. (KADN) — Evangeline Parish Sheriff Charles Guillory said he has accepted a more than $21 million bid to build a new jail. Right now, there is no timeline for when construction will start. But the sheriff said the jail should be complete in about 18 months once it does.
Iowa High School Boy’s List of State Track and Field Qualifiers Released
(Des Moines) The Iowa High School Athletic Association released its 2024 State Track and Field qualifiers list on Friday afternoon.
