    Eunice man wanted, accused of killing a man and his dog

    EUNICE, La. ( KLFY ) — Authorities are looking for a suspect in the murder of a Eunice man on April 8, authorities said.

    Daylon Lewis Rainville, 18, of Eunice is wanted on charges of second degree murder and aggravated cruelty to animals. Rainville is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. His last known address is the 200 block of Coteau Road in Eunice.

    On April 8, officers with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 513 La. Highway 757 in the Eunice area regarding a report of a shooting. Officers discovered Roy “Tray” Guillory, Jr., 19, had been shot, and died as a result of his injuries, and a dog that was shot dead was also inside the home, authorities said.

    Officials believe Rainville has left the area.
