Shenandoah announces K-8 Students of the Month for April
(Shenandoah) -- Several students in Shenandoah's Elementary and Middle schools are being recognized for their outstanding character. Shenandoah K-8 Principal Aaron Burdorf recently announced the school's April Students of the Month. To be eligible for the award, students can earn "The Mustang Way" cards for being respectful, responsible and safe throughout the month from teachers and staff. The cards are then used to randomly select winner for each month and the winners receive an award.

Page County board hears library summer programming plans
(Clarinda-Shenandoah) -- It looks to be another jam-packed summer at the Page County libraries for people of all ages. That's the message from Shenandoah Public Library Director Carrie Falk, who announced the summer reading program "Read, Read, and Repeat" and the sharing plans during that time between the county libraries during the Page County Board of Supervisors meeting Thursday. Falk says all the county libraries, including Clarinda, Essex, Coin, and Shenandoah, plan to have various events with that theme in mind.
