Two-car crash takes place in Elmira Tuesday evening

ELMIRA, N.Y. ( WETM ) – A two-car crash temporarily blocked an intersection in the city of Elmira Tuesday evening.

Two cars crashed at the intersection of North Main Street and West Water Street in Elmira at about 10:45 p.m. on May 14. According to an 18 News reporter at the scene, a black Nissan could be seen with extensive damage on the passenger side. Another vehicle could be seen with extensive damage to the front end.

Elmira Fire Department and the Elmira Police Department were on the scene as well as Erway ambulance.

It is unknown if there were any injuries as a result of the crash, but 18 News could see all of the occupants standing and alert outside of the vehicles.
