Firefighters Battle Early Morning Blaze In Chester County (Photos)
Cochranville Fire Company was called to a three-story home on Bailey Crossroads Road just before 6:30 a.m., the department said in a release. All residents were safely evacuated and firefighters got to work attacking the blaze from two sides of the building, according to Company brass. First responders from neighboring units were on scene assisting, officials noted.

NEWARK, Del. - A one-year-old girl is being sought after the car she was in was reportedly stolen in Newark, Delaware. New Castle County Police said the car, a gray 2010 Nissan Altima was in a 7-Eleven parking lot on South Gerald Drive, in Newark, about 5:30 Wednesday evening, when the car was parked and running.

The Dover Police Department has arrested a second individual, Khalil Peden, 23, in relation to a 2022 Thanksgiving Day homicide. Peden, from Bear, was identified through an investigation and was indicted by a Grand Jury on 11/6/23. He was arrested without incident by the U.S. Marshal’s Service First State Fugitive Task Force on 11/29/2023 in Wilmington, DE. Peden was arraigned at Kent County Superior Court and is being held on $1,000,000 cash bail. He is charged with Murder First Degree, Possession of a Firearm During a Felony, and Conspiracy First Degree.

Teens arrested, charged for stealing computers from Del. school
Two teenagers have been charged with theft and conspiracy after stealing nearly two dozen computers from a high school in Delaware, according to police. The nearly two dozen computers were reported stolen in early October to a school resource officer at Newark High School after they were missing from an unlocked classroom, police said.
