High Street house fire under investigation
CAMBRIDGE — The cause of a fire that started in the exterior of a two-story, single-family home in the 400 block of High Street is under investigation. According to a news release from the Office of the State Fire Marshal, the one-alarm fire, which occurred on April 29, was discovered by a neighbor. It took 20 firefighters 20 minutes to control. The Office of the State Fire Marshal said the fire resulted in an estimated loss of $10,000. No injuries or deaths were reported. Rescue Fire Company was the primary responding fire department on the scene. The Office of the State Fire Marshal said anyone with information about the fire should call the Lower Eastern Region of the Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.
