High Street house fire under investigation

CAMBRIDGE — The cause of a fire that started in the exterior of a two-story, single-family home in the 400 block of High Street is under investigation.

According to a news release from the Office of the State Fire Marshal, the one-alarm fire, which occurred on April 29, was discovered by a neighbor. It took 20 firefighters 20 minutes to control.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal said the fire resulted in an estimated loss of $10,000. No injuries or deaths were reported.

Rescue Fire Company was the primary responding fire department on the scene.
