SJSD Board of Education votes down four-day school weeks
(St. Joseph, Mo.) The St. Joseph School District Board of Education voted against implementing four-day school weeks for the 2024-25 school year at Monday night's meeting. The SJSD Board of Education has been discussing the move to a four-day school week for around six months now. Superintendent Gabe Edgar said the reason SJSD discussed implementing the four-day weeks was to increase teacher recruitment and retention.
