KQ2 spoke with a representative from Missouri American Water who said, "All I can tell you is this resulted from a contractor hitting our water main. This main is a 24-inch main and we are on site now. There is not currently any timeline I can give for when repairs will be completed."

Staffone Fountain, 31, of St. Joseph had been scheduled for a jury trial to begin February 27. But during his pre-trial hearing on Tuesday, the judge granted the prosecution’s request for a continuance and the trial was reset to begin June 18.

Interstate 35 is back open in Clinton County. The Missouri Department of Transportation says both north and southbound lanes of Interstate 35 in Clinton County are now open. Contractors from Phillips Hardy, Inc., with the Missouri Department of Transportation, reopened the interstate before the 7:15 p.m. deadline on Tuesday to remove the bridge deck as a part of the Route H bridge replacement project.
