ELWOOD, Kan. (KCTV) - One man was taken to a nearby hospital while information about a juvenile in his vehicle when it was hit by a train in Kansas remains scarce. The Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log indicates that just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, emergency crews were called to the area of 15th and Vermont St. in Elwood with reports of a vehicle-train collision.
