STORM ALERT WEATHER 3 FORECAST: Sunny, seasonal weekend
The theme of seasonable temperatures and relatively low humidity continues this weekend with plenty of sun to enjoy. Breezy northwest winds will drop dew points to the 40s and 50s, making for the most comfortable weekend we have experienced in quite some time! Some clouds will start to increase Sunday as the opening ceremony for the World Aerobatic Championship kicks off in Clear Lake. Low-end threats for rain and storms return to kick off the new work week, but precipitation will be rather isolated. Temperatures will rebound to the upper 70s to low 80s as south winds return for much of next week.

STORM ALERT WEATHER 3 FORECAST: Sct'd storms Tuesday PM, severe threat upgraded
Sunshine should start increase this afternoon, allowing temperatures to peak in the upper 70s. A cold front is located in central Minnesota and continues to slowly slide southeast. This boundary could spark scattered thunderstorm development by mid-afternoon. These storms could become rather perky at times in an increasingly unstable environment, which is why the Storm Prediction Center has upgraded those south of the I-90 corridor to a higher possibility of severe storms. Damaging wind gusts of 60 MPH and up to golf ball size hailstones are possible from 3 PM to 8 PM Tuesday. Once the front slides south, the severe threat will diminish.
