School safety concerns prompt parking proposal near Cape middle school
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Heartland News) - A two-block stretch of road near the middle school in Cape Girardeau could soon become a no-parking zone during school hours. Bill Emerson Bridge construction will continue until winter season
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Heartland News) - Construction on the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge will switch to the eastbound lanes and continue until the winter season. Earlier this year, Missouri Department of Transportation(MoDOT) crews restricted traffic to one lane in each direction with both lanes of traffic on the eastbound side of the bridge.
