Agencies respond to 12th Street collision
MURRAY – A two-vehicle collision last Friday resulted in one passenger being taken to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of possible injuries. According to the Murray Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of North 12th and Olive streets at 10:30 a.m. Friday for a report of a collision. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a juvenile driver who stated that she was traveling north on 12th Street and had stopped at the intersection. She told officers she did not see the other vehicle turning, and she then struck it.

One person was injured in a two vehicle accident Friday in Murray. Murray police say the mishap occured around 10:30 am at the intersection of North 12th Street and Olive Street. Investigators said a junvile driver indicated she was travelling north on 12th and stopped at the Olive Street intersection.

Gilbertsville man jailed following pursuit
A Gilbertsville man was arrested Friday following a motorcycle pursuit. The Marshall County Sheriff's Department said 48-year-old Henry Scott was apprehended at residence on Hawkeye Road. Deputies attempted to stop Scott for speeding when he accelerated and fled. Scott was placed in the Marshall County Jail on numerous charges.
